Undercover.

This is coolbert:

Thanks to the Express those elite English special operations troops in response to the jihadi attack in Paris now on patrol, armed and ready, on British soil.

"SAS rushed in to guard our streets as Al Qaeda warns 'you're next'"

"SAS troops are patrolling the streets of Britain to prevent a Paris-style terrorist outrage."

"The elite Special Forces have joined counter-terror police and 1,900 Army personnel in the biggest security operation since the 2012 London Olympics."

. . . .

"Most of the Special Forces will be wearing civilian clothes, while some have donned police uniforms to accompany police officers who visit the homes of persons of interest in response to intelligence leads by MI5."

Special Air Service personnel the ONLY British troops allowed by law to carry firearms on English soil. And in mufti, not in military uniform, assuming a form of guise during the mission.

This sort of thing forbidden in the U.S. under the posse comitatus law. NO law enforcement role for the American military.

Obviously the British concerned that their police will need heavy back-up in case they meet jihadi well armed and resolute as those that attacked Charlie Hebdo.
