Within context of the inviolability of war memorials consider the Łyczakowski Cemetery, Lvov [now located in the Ukraine].

After the collapse of the Soviet Union, in the 90's they were rebuilt by Poles. Recently the Ukrainian government finally gave the permission to restore the American flyer statue too."
